Four-time premiership player, Jarryd Roughead is a highly respected figure, having played 283 AFL games for Hawthorn between 2005 and2019, winning premierships in 2008, 2013, 2014 and 2015, and captaining the Club from 2017–18.

Since retiring in 2019 his extensive football industry experience as a player crossed over to football operations as an assistant coach (St Kilda) and list manager (Hawthorn & Adelaide).
